Meninê is an agender fashion brand created by Hellena Kuasne in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 2016. Hellena sews the fabrics, chooses colors, textures, and measures each body that is going to wear the clothes. Its principles are opposed to mass fashion production and marketing. At Meninê, no design is the same and each piece is tailored to the proportions and visual/gender identity of the client.
The name Meninê is a gender-neutral word, transcending the gendered nouns Menino (boy) and Menina (girl) in Brazilian Portuguese.
