Cena Berlim is a community of Brazilian creative professionals in Berlin. Our digital platform provides the following services free of any cost:

• Selection and publication of interesting opportunities and events in the field of arts and culture that are shared daily in the community;
space for users to share their opportunities and events in the field of arts and culture.

• Compilation of companies and service providers from the most diverse areas curated and recommended by the community.

• Catalog of Brazilian professionals working in Berlin in the major fields of the creative industry.

• Support in planning and production of events of interest to the community.

• Space/blog for users to read, write, publish, and promote their stories, pieces, and interviews.

• Your Name (mandatory) / Your Email (mandatory) / Your Date of Birth (mandatory) / Your Profession and Occupation Field (mandatory) / Your Nationality (mandatory) / Your Location - City and Country (mandatory) / Your Social Media Profile (optional) / Your Professional Website (optional) / Your Mobile Phone Number (optional) / Your Profile Photo (optional) / Your Personal Bio (optional).

We use these data to:

• Identify if the subscriber meets the requirements to be included in the Cena Berlim Community as a member: coming from Brazil or another Portuguese-speaking country and to be studying or working in Berlin (Germany) in the field of arts, culture, or creative industry.

• Create your public profile on the Cener's gallery (only if you choose to have a profile and share only the information you have explicitly authorized).

• Trace an anonymized profile of the community to support future strategies to improve our Services.

Information we collect if you share an opportunity or event on the platform:‍

When using our Service to share an opportunity, besides the opportunity public information, you will be prompted to provide us with personal information used to contact or identify you. In this case, Cena Berlim | Share an Opportunity collects the following personal information:

• Your Email (mandatory).

We use this information only to contact you about the opportunity post, if necessary.

Information we collect if you share an article or piece on the platform:‍

When using our Service to share content (an article or another type of media), you will be prompted to provide us with personal information used to contact or identify you and content whose intellectual property might belong to you or others. In this case, Cena Berlim | CB Talks collects the following information:

• Your Name (mandatory) / Content (text, image, or video), yours or from a third party (mandatory).

We use this information to identify intellectual property and give credit to the legal owner of the shared content.

Information we collect if you subscribe on the platform to receive our newsletter:‍

When using our Service to receive our newsletter, you will be prompted to provide us with personal information used to contact or identify you. In this case, Cena Berlim | Cena Newsletter collects the following information:

• Your Name (mandatory) / Your Email (mandatory).

We use this information only to send you our newsletter, if you choose to subscribe to it.

Usage Data (from cookies) includes the following:‍

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

It's important to tell you that when you perform the platform onboarding or share an opportunity, you will receive an email with all the information you shared with us when filling out the form.

Your data will be stored for up to 90 days after it is no longer required to provide you with the services. Your information may be retained for longer periods for reporting or record-keeping in accordance with applicable laws. The information which does not identify you personally may be stored indefinitely.

You must know that Cena Berlim's platform still needs a logged-in area for each member registered in the community. We're working on it. In the meantime, if you need to edit or delete your profile or an opportunity post, contact us by email (contact@cenaberlim.com).

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Cena Berlim's platform may use your information only for the following purposes:

• Providing and maintaining our Service, as well as monitoring the usage of our Service.

• To contact you (Cena Berlim will contact you by email, phone, SMS, or another form of electronic communication related to the functions, products, services, or security updates when necessary or reasonable).

• To update you with news, general information, special offers, new services, and events (only if you opted in to receive this type of information).

• Marketing and promotional initiatives (Cena Berlim will use non-specific information gathered from you in order to improve our marketing efforts).

• Testimonials and customer feedback collection. If you share a testimonial or review about your experience using our Service, it will be shared or otherwise used on the website.

• Managing your personal profile on the website (only if you opted in to have a public profile).

• About written content:  use quotation marks (in case of literal citation) and credit the authorship in a clear and objective way.

• About images or videos: check if they can be shared and ensure credit to all owners properly.

THIRD-PARTY SHARING

Any third party we share your information with must disclose the purpose for which they intend to use your information. They must retain your information only for the duration disclosed when requesting or receiving said information. The third-party service provider must not further collect, sell, or use your personal information except as necessary to perform the specified purpose.

• Community channel (Cena Berlim's Group on WhatsApp): your information will be used to include you in a group composed only of the community members in a multiplatform messaging app that lets you shares texts and audiovisual content and make video and voice calls.

• Forms (Typeform): your information will be initially collected by a platform specialized in building online forms before reaching our database.

• Relational Database  (Airtable and Google Drive): your information will be stored for the time already provided here in a database.

If you choose to provide such information during registration or otherwise, you are giving Cena Berlim permission to use, share, and store that information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Your information may be disclosed for additional reasons, including:

• Complying with applicable laws, regulations, or court orders.
