I’m a 33-year-old storyteller based in Berlin, but with roots that can easily be planted all over the world. This wandering nature is part of me: I’m from Salvador, Bahia, Saxony, Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. Stories fascinate me since I was a child: I love listening, watching, and inventing them. A relentless curiosity has taken me to explore narratives in all sorts of media and when I was 16, I decided to work with cinema, after all multiple art forms are condensed at once in audiovisual storytelling. After 3 years working as an analyst and curator of content and narrative development for Latin America’s largest media conglomerate, Globo, I moved to Berlin looking for new projects in the audiovisual and cultural industries. As an independent filmmaker, I have written, directed and edited short films. The hybrid documentary “The Loudest Silence” is a highlight, having had a long career in important festivals such as Mostra de Tiradentes, Concordia Film Festival and Málaga Festival, and many others in Zimbabwe, Taiwan, Mexico, India, and Germany.
