MuepEtmo is a sound and visual artist, musician, composer, and sound engineer. He graduated from SAE (Institute Audio Engineer) and is a resident musician at CVA (Conservatorium Van Amsterdam). He researches sophisticated technical resources, both analog and digital, that merge with conventional or historical instruments such as basses, guitars, pianos, and harpsichords. His visual works have been a lifelong compulsion. In addition to being a musical director, he also creates original music for film, theatre, dance, and installation soundtracks, and advises on music production and setting up home studios for sound artists. Together with Seth Zhan, he has a noise music partnership known as DRAGN, which uses modular synthesizers, MPC, and electric bass for live performances. Alongside light artist Mirella Brandi, he creates multidisciplinary works, visual concerts, and immersive performances of expanded cinema. The duo, also known as MXM, has been working together since 2006 and has developed numerous art projects and curatorships. MXM's works have won the Rumos Itaú Cultural SP three times consecutively, participated in the C60Urban Solar Audio Plant in Berlin, and the Besides the Screen festival in Coventry, UK, among many other festivals. They are also associated artists at the ACKER STADT PALAST Berlin. MuepEtmo lives between São Paulo and Berlin."
